I need suggestions
Without them I get something he wants instead (like the 2005 expresso machine, I only drink tea)

ChippolataMinton · 16/12/2007 22:03

My feet are freezing, i can't wait either!
Hope i get something...um...impractical too though.

Quattrocento · 16/12/2007 22:07

Rocks would be nice but I haven't a clue what he will get me.

Except I DO KNOE he will buy me a box of chocolates. I don't really like chocolate other than astonishingly expensive milky ones. Preferably with nuts in.

So he will go and get me a box of something horrible like Black Magic, and then eat them all himself.

He has done this every year for the last 17 years.

Flibbertinseljinglebells · 16/12/2007 22:17

I would like that 'Jackie' cd which has been advertised on tv, all the songs are from when I was 11 to 13.
I'm going to have to ask my mum to buy it and tell him that she is sure I would like it and I'm sure he'll give her the money for it and pretend it was all his idea
I suppose you lot won't know half the people on the advert for that cd though

notnowbernardimstuffingthebird · 16/12/2007 22:31

This is my wish list:

Some gorgeous underwear
Some comfy/slobby/cosy trousers for at home
Books
Shameless box set
Wardrobes
New bed

notnowbernardimstuffingthebird · 16/12/2007 22:34

I know my wish-list will be unfulfilled...

Quattrocento · 16/12/2007 22:35

Surely you could manage one or two from that list? Could you not write to Santa with the children and deliver the letters to DH for him to do something with them?

WideWebWitch · 16/12/2007 22:39

I had a night away, alone in a smart hotel(on Friday), it was bliss
Last year I had as long as I wanted in a bookshop, alone and bought loads and loads of books, I'm still reading them

1dilemma · 16/12/2007 22:44

Time alone
Now that's a present and a half!!!!

notnowbernardimstuffingthebird · 16/12/2007 22:48

Dp and I have made a pact this year that we aren't getting each other anything... we are skint (dp's new business in v.early stages, cash flow not great at the mo), so sacrifices required etc etc!

Have got ourselves well stocked up on food and booze though, so all will be well on the day!

And the dds are sorted, too

bluefox · 16/12/2007 22:48

Im hoping for tickets to see Velvet Revolver.

purpleduck · 16/12/2007 23:36

Haven't asked for anything, but he always does very well. He seems to know what i will love before i even know i want it. I didn't want an ipod, last year he got me one, and it is my fav thing EVER. He is also great at buying me handbags. He has spookily good taste with them, and I have loved them all (apart from a bolwling-ball bag like thing )

jezzemxmas · 16/12/2007 23:42

Strictly Come Dancing Live tickets

Well I told him they were touring after the show finished so I bought the tickets (money will come out of joint account) and said "Right that's my christmas pressie sorted. Thank you"
Oh and I want a USB memory stick!!!

TheBlonde · 17/12/2007 12:16

A cleaner...seriously hoping he's arranged one to start Jan. Romantic round mine.

CremolaFirCone · 17/12/2007 12:24

just a lovely snog.
we never get any alone time these days.

janeite · 17/12/2007 18:26

I've asked for a big pile of books (which I think he will get because I'm a foul tempered maniac if I haven't got anything to read!) and some smellies from Origins. He usually manages to track down a lovely 80s dvd too.

TheBlonde · 19/12/2007 11:37

I still can't think of anything...
