Ideas for experiences/activities with dh and ds

I’m not looking to spend much but I’m looking for something they can do together. Ds is nearly 13. My oh mobility is also slightly limited. I would have done insomnia tickets but no news yet. Any ideas be greatly appreciated. They are almost done present wise so this is a surprise for both of them.

Tickets to a Christmas panto
Festive afternoon tea in town etc
A carol service
A drive through to see the houses at night as well
Trip to a garden center in order to pick out decorations

Escape room?

How about archery or similar?

Tank driving experience was v. popular with my DH &DS

Thanks for the replies. We are off to the panto to see Cinderella as a family and see the lights as part of our Xmas eve tradition.

I will have a look into the escape rooms. I did wonder about that but not sure as ds is autistic so a lot of things are trial and error!

Ski lesson

Golf lesson

Tobogganing at local ski centre
