Ohuhu markers for 8 yr old?

8 yr old likes drawing and colouring. I saw ohuhu markers recommended on here a while ago but just checked them out on Amazon and they're permanent markers...is this a bad idea? They're also quite expensive, £50 or more for a set with plenty of colours. I can afford this and if they're worth it and suitable for a child I will get them. Are there any decent alternatives?

What are you looking for? Does she prefer Colouring in crayon or pens? If they're permanent markers will they be as good for Colouring in or does she do more drawing? I've just been looking at some gel crayons which also can be used as a watercolour

Just checked the ones you found. They don't deliver to Northern Ireland (Boo!) and they're smaller (which would be fine for me) than the other 48 pack. I was looking at bigger packs.

She uses brush pens a lot but mainly to colour in not letter. (she's not too good at brush lettering and not overly interested.)

I don't know what is supposed to be better about these ones than felt tips/ brush pens that cost a tenner for a pack.

I got them for my dd at 9 yo, 8 might be a little young.

My dd really only colours/draws at the kitchen table, so there are no markers in her room or near sofas etc.
