Robot toy for nearly 3 yo - any suggestions?

DS has been saying that he'd like a "real robot" for Christmas. I have no idea what this means, although I think it could mean something that it electronic.

Everything I've searched for online is a bit crap, for 6+ or babies. Any suggestions?

What about this? DN had an all singing all dancing one that cost £££ & quickly lost interest in it. I think he was thinking it would have full on conversation with him as seen in the movies or something.
