I fear I am searching for the impossible but..

Dd1 has asked for a George coat (that she's seen on Insta or Tiktok which means of course so have millions of others 😩) . It is out of stock online but apparently comes back in fleetingly and ditto in store.

Oh I'll just ring the stores to see if they have stock says I - ha no I won't because after to listening to all the bastarding opening hours/other info it then says 'due to unprecedented or whatever demand we cannot put your though to our store!Aargh!!!

So we have currently been to 6 Asda stores and only found large which she has tried on with me holding it in at the back to see 'if it might look good' much to the amusement of other shoppers. Incidentally where have all the bloody mirrors gone??

Not much help but nothing New Look and H&M had similar OP.

You need to call the staff phone number, it's a local number not 08, they all have one, click your a colleague on the automated voice and you will be able to speak to a manager.
Perhaps there's some staff are on here want to share phone numbers?

I don’t know about the coat but mirrors !!! Yes what HAS happened to them ? I was in Matalan the other day and the only mirror was hidden on a post behind a sea of coats so you could only just about squeeze a look and same in other shops we went into . Why have they removed all the mirrors ? Surely covid isn’t to blame for that too jeez !

It looks like there was a lot of publicity when it was launched and it sold out quickly. Hopefully there will be some on sale on eBay? Have you tried tweeting them to ask if they are getting more?

I was after that coat back in September when it launched.
Tesco had a similar one. You'll be lucky if you find it anywhere now....
