Last time I did this I did mini perfume from Next or booze miniatures.

What are your best ideas please? 4 x 65+ adults, 2 x 40+ adults, DD(7) and DS(9)

Ideally about £5 each.

Nail varnish, scratch cards? Looking for some ideas myself!

WhatonEarth1 · 28/11/2021 06:00

This year I’m putting a Tisserand de-stress aromatherapy roller ball in my DM’s cracker. It will fit if I take it out of the packaging. DF is getting ferrero rocher and a scratch card, DH is getting an enamel pin badge for a hobby he likes.
I’m doing this hand cream for my DSis www.thebodyshop.com/en-gb/hands/hand-moisturisers/mango-hand-cream/p/1087125
Last year I did face masks (the Covid kind).
Body Shop bath bubbles are individually wrapped and small enough.
In previous years I’ve done hair clips, scrunchies, chap stick, rubbers and pencil sharpener, transfer tattoos, bracelet and bubble gum for the dc.
This year dd is getting a little pot of nail varnish and DS is getting a Lego mini figure Keyring.

This year I’m using little photo magnets from Photobox- I think it was a sheet of 9 different photos that you can separate.

TamarilloTrifle · 28/11/2021 08:32

I've got little fair trade worry dolls and a lindt ball for everyone. I've never made crackers before but I'm hoping to have the energy to actually do it this year.

DentalWorries · 28/11/2021 08:34

I’m looking for this as well. I wanted to do alcohol minatures but I couldn’t find any that aren’t glass. Then yesterday I bought a few lip glosses for the girls but they’re too long! I hadn’t realised but the ones I’ve bought are actually quite small so now wondering what I’ll actually be able to fit in there

Namechangeforthis88 · 28/11/2021 08:49

For the cracker tubes I'm using toilet roll inners, I'll cover them in wrapping paper. I mention this item's case it's helpful for posters whose crackers are too small.

I did personalised crackers last year, tiny soap, a mini tool thing with multiple functions. Struggle to remember the rest. DS suggested not personlised this year and I'm doing it for more people so I've just got a bag of mixed mini toblerones.

Always a scratch card.
Last year i added a prettily wrapped liqueur chocolate or two. www.wilko.com/en-uk/anthon-berg-cocktail-chocolates-250g/p/0485712
Kids - lego blind bag.

FusionChefGeoff · 28/11/2021 09:23

Scratch cards are a great idea!
Also love Lindt balls so they're a must for everyone.

Tisserand 'sleep' role on for poor insomniac mum
Mini toblerone for kids

Golf tees?? Both men play. Any other golf things - I know nothing!?

MIL is into DIY / very organised / house proud / walking / knitting - any ideas??

DH?? Loves sport, bikes to train station, music, podcasts, tickets to something perhaps?! Happy to make this bigger as we don't do gifts for each other.

Me!!! Might treat myself to something just got to think about what!

Some great ideas here

YorkieTheRabbit · 28/11/2021 09:54

I’ve done
Flower seeds
Mini shower gel
Mini hand cream
Earrings
Personalised bottle opener
Glasses repair kit
Nail varnish
Lip balm
Key caps - they went down better than expected Grin
Always put a scratch card in too
I always find men more difficult and I’m stuck for what to put in DP cracker this year, he is 65, doesn’t play golf, I’d thought about a good pair of socks but think I’d struggle to fit them in, he’s got size 12 feet Shock

ShaunaTheSheep · 28/11/2021 22:57

Trolley tokens on a key ring is another idea.

BeaLola · 28/11/2021 23:03

Lip balm or lipstick
Glitzy hair slides for daughter or bracelet/necklace
Ties for men
Mini bottle of hand sanitiser
Keyring
Eye mask
Costa voucher or similar /cinema voucher/book voucher

YorkieTheRabbit · 30/11/2021 22:21

I’ve ordered some small Neom sleep pillow sprays, the small ones will fit in the crackers.

garlicandsapphires · 30/11/2021 22:25

Do you put a thing that snaps In them (don’t know what it’s called)
If so where can you buy them?
I’ve always wanted to do this.

YorkieTheRabbit · 30/11/2021 22:40

I usually buy the crackers that you either make up from a kit, snap included but I’ve bought ready made ones this year, one end is left open to put the gift in. I’ve seen cracker snaps on Amazon and hobbycraft

DentalWorries · 30/11/2021 22:56

@garlicandsapphires I bought these from Etsy. They come with the snap, hats, jokes and ribbons so you can put in your own gift. I went with small Body Shop hand creams. I actually constructed them this evening ready for a Christmas dinner next weekend with friends and they look fabulous. I’ll definitely be ordering more for Christmas Day

Mossstitch · 30/11/2021 23:39

For your MIL:- someone bought me lots of little knitting things for stocking fillers last year, one of these were tiny stich holders, they look like miniature keyring, one has knitting diva on a heart and others were tiny balls of yarn. They would be perfect inside a cracker💖

londonmummy1966 · 01/12/2021 00:16

This is a really nice hand sanitiser that fits in my crackers
