Need some inspiration. Want to spend buying a few mainly food bits for Christmas with my online food shop - don't often get to the shop to see everything. What do you buy? We don't drink really so no alcohol needed.

There's 4 of us. Don't really have anyone around at Christmas.

I've already bought some gravy and stuffing (bugger making it from scratch 😅). I've also bought some after eights, a tub of nuts and a few other food bits.

Planned to get some Yorkshire's in the freezer.

Also bought two frozen roulades from Sainsburys. Dp loves them and we only tend to get them at Christmas!

But what do you love to munch on at Christmas that can be bought in advance?

Tia ☺️

@CovidCorvid

Can someone please recommend me some nice pigs in blankets to buy….I’m always disappointed. Maybe I’m cooking them wrong! 🤷‍♀️
I usually just buy from the supermarket but last year I decided to treat us to meat from the butchers and in turn support local business. Game changer. I don't think supermarket ones compare now 😅 but I do quite like the Asda extras special ones! I find refrigerated ones cook a whole lot better than pigs in blankets that have been frozen!

I don't buy anything in advance because it will just get eaten! But I have ordered my Tesco delivery for the 23rd (just yesterday - plenty of slots still available) and 'food to order' from Sainsbury's which has the heroes: turkey crown, pigs in blanket tree, roast beef for Boxing Day and all the veg.

I have now bought a box of QS chocolates as a present. On the look out for wine and other important items however.

I'm scaling back this year. Bought loads of treat things last year and threw most of it out after twelfth night!

I'm just getting some lovely chocs and some florentines. Also the obligatory mince pies, xmas cake, stollen etc.
Will also have all the cheese in the world for the days between Xmas and NYE.
