Actually 68 presents means 68 people (well actually more as some presents are for mummy & daddy)

Why do I do these things

it will be fine. I panic every time I have a Brownie party. Tis always fine. Get adults to hand out food, and they can say "No Jimmy 2 sausages and not 53". You will have loads left over, I always end up overcatering.

As Gingerbread men are iced can I just dust fairy cakes with icing sugar - they are chocolate?

if necessary you don't even have to ice fairy cakes at all! sounds fantastic and you are an inspiration, I can't cope with inviting 2 people over for New Years! hope it all goes well
