Help advice about barbie camper van

Barbie novice here so appreciate any advice. Is the new 3 in 1 barbie camper van better than the older dream estate version? The 3 in 1 is reduced on amazon. Had bought the older one but reviews say it doesn't actually fit a normal size barbie doll in it!? Thanks so much for barbie advice!

My DD has asked for the Barbie campervan for Christmas. She was adamant she wanted the older dream estate one because of the pop out features rather than the new 3 in 1. She did not like the rowing boat thing or the jeep or the paddling pool.

If your dd isn't so fussy then go with the cheaper version!

My DD is Barbie mad btw, we have so many sets including the dream house so she is a Barbie "expert"!! Lol

My dd got the camper for her bday in July. I didn't realise there was more than one. It must be the 3 in one as it has the pool and jeep etc that come out. Dd likes the fact she can set up separate areas and they can go to the pool etc. It does fit full size barbies in as well and comes with loads of accessories, blankets, cutlery, fishing rods etc.

Its a very low price in Lidl at the moment according to their online leaflet.

Gosh dd has the camper van on her list and I’ve bought the 3 in 1 one, hope it’s the right one!

This thread brought some memories back to me! When DD was a dot she had an early version of the Barbie camper(very basic, certainly didn’t have pools or boats). The boys upstairs had a lot of action men, unfortunately they didn’t have enough vehicles for them, so when it was imperative for all the action men to set off on a quest together, some went by jeep, some by tank, and some by barbie camper.......

I don't know which is better but neither of them will be as good as my three foot long one from the eighties that I still have!

I've bought my DD the older Dream Campervan rather than the 3 in 1, just because it's the one from the show. I showed my DD both and she liked both, but she preferred how the Dream Campervan sprang apart and how the pool/slide popped out

So I checked with dd and of course she wants the estate one, which is of course more expensive on Amazon! But thank you for the heads up from this thread, glad I checked!

The 3 in 1 is huge, we got it last Christmas. My 2.5 year old sits on it and rides it like a ride on toy!

Can full size Barbies fit in the older one? Without that ability it's pointless

My DD has the dream estate one - full size barbies can fit in. They can sit in the driving and passenger seats strapped in. These seats double as dining chairs to sit at the table. They can fit in the hammocks/shower and even sit on the toilet!

DD is getting the 3 in 1 camper for her birthday.
It's huge and exactly what she asked for. She said the dream estate one "looks old mum" with an eye roll. (She's almost 8, but thinks she's 15)
