North Pole/Christmas supper

Ds is, a teen now but has always enjoyed a North Pole Breakfast during Advent, always at the weekend. However, he sometimes gets up late at the weekend nowadays so I am considering doing a North Pole supper instead, one evening. Wondering if it would work as well. Has anyone else done anything similar?

This sounds lovely, I am not sure what you would do but I will be watching for ideas Smile

Breakfast for dinner sounds good? Smile what does your normal North Pole breakfast look like?

You could get some of the Christmassy shaped crumpets from the supermarket.

We usually have things along the lines of croissants, brioche, crackers, breadssticks and sweet treats like sweets/choc and Christmassy shaped gingerbread and cakes. He doesn't eat that much but enjoys a bit of everything and the whole tradition of it.

You sound lovely. What a nice thing to do!

Aw, thank you so much.
Ds is our one and only so it's nice to keep some traditions going where we can.

How about brunch/lunch ? Might do it myself when the girls get back from university (first year blended so looking for new traditions so to speak)

I have an idea...I've seen marks and Spencer are doing a "night before Christmas" cake. Have a look at them. I think they look great and perfect for a North Pole supper as a special treat!

I do breakfast but in the evening on 1st (if it's not a weekend). Everyone loves breakfast food, sweet and savoury!

On Christmas Eve, the dc are having crumpet pizzas with these crumpets for lunch and this pasta for dinner.
