What age are fisher price linkimals best for?

I've been looking at the fisher price linkimals for my 2 kids who will just be turning 1 and 2. Are they too young for the 2yo? I was thinking the penguin and sloth for the 2yo and the turtle and koala for the 1yo? Are they any good/worth it?

Do you really want four?? Have you ever set one off in a shop, it's so creepy when all of the others respond in unison :o

I reckon my 3yo would still enjoy one though. I'd go for one each so they can play together. But I also think they are a bit of a novelty and also will get annoying (for adults) really really fast.

Sorry I was going for 2 in total so either 1 for each of them or 2 for 1 child if they're too young/old for the other one. 4 of them would be out in the garden in no time if they were all going off at each other!

They are great. I don't think 2 is too young especially if you get one with more to it's content like the koala

We got a moose for Xmas when ds was about to turn 1. He loved that thing more than life itself for over a year. I still know all the songs though and it was packed away many months ago...

They're about the right age. I wouldn't recommend them though, too annoying
