Can you freeze cheese..

That's it really can you freeze all cheese, including stilton and what is the best way to freeze. Is it the same once defrosted and how long does it take to defrost.

my gran always froze cheese but only grated. not sure why though. she used it in sauces etc. i guess you could crumble stilton and freeze. hth!

Yes you can.

Sometimes harder cheese goes a bit crumbly once defrosted ime.

I just bung it in the freezer in its wrapper or clingfilm.

Defrosting time....overnight?
