run an outdoor extension lead out from a window/door/letterbox.

Through the window at the Dragon House

Through the small hall window. It is UPVC and locks "nearly" shut. We then put masking tape round the inside to stop draft.

i am lucky dh is an electrician and is actually putting ours up as i type this.he loves doing this and last year won the neighbourhood trophy for the best display.i think it brings a bit of brightness in the dull days andlove going round to see the all.Near where i live there is a whole close that does them ,they are fab and it lookes great.Somehow dh brings all the leads into the roof and they work from there ,but not sure how ,Do you want me to ask him for you ?

Our front door is so ill-fitting that the wire just comes through and plugs in on the hall.
