Echo Dot Kids

I am hoping someone will be able to help, I have seen the Echo Dot Kids on Amazon is on sale, I am thinking for my little boy for Christmas. He is 3 and loves our Alexa but not sure if it is worth it/ if he will get much use out of it.

Does anyone have one of the kids ones and would you recommend?

If he likes listening to stories definitely yes, comes with some even better if you have audible because you can add your own. It’s also fun to drop in on each other from another room. My kids use theirs every night without fail much cheaper and more selection than one of those kids story cubes.

Thank you, I did not know you could play audible through it, I think he would love listening to a story through it.

Yes for audible it’s blocked until you go on the Alexa app on your phone , find your ds’s device and add the audible stories that you want him to have access to. That way he won’t be able to listen to any unsuitable books you have in your library.

My dc also love it for asking for jokes , Christmas countdown , random facts like which is the biggest land animal etc and fart noises!
