Clothes shops for 13 year old girl

Where do 13 year old girls shop for clothes? I want to get an outfit for my niece but I don't know where's best to go to!

I wouldn’t buy clothes for a teen unless you know their style and where they like to shop. I find it hard enough with my teen DD’s 🤣. Also sizes very so much in each shop. I would rather buy them a voucher or actually ask them what they would like. 13 is a funny age.

Why not take her shopping for an outfit, make the day, or half day, all about her. Much better she choose something that delights her than you maybe picking something that's not quite to her taste?

Ask her Mum? At 13 one of mine would only like things that were alternative whereas the other teen would like fashion.

I remember getting clothes from an aunt at 13, so disappointing as they really weren't to my taste. My reaction must have been obvious as she returned them and asked me what I wanted instead.

Agree 13 is a tricky age.

Take her shopping, somewhere with a good range of shops that sell for her size that’ll cover all bases, let her lead. I was very much indie at 13 (early 90’s) but my relatives liked to buy me stuff to match my younger and very girly sister. Take her and follow her lead.

What's her style? One of mine wouldn't have worn mainstream clothing at 13 - she was very alternative. I probably wouldn't try buying clothes for someone else's teen, there are many other things you could buy her, why specifically an outfit?

Does she live near(ish) ? Take her shopping, bite to eat etc. My brother used to take my girls shopping at that age and give them a budget

My 14 year old likes Brandy Melville and Urban Outfitters. I know others who wouldn't though. I would ask or take her shopping.

Agree that she would probably like a shopping trip where she gets to choose the best.
