What are you asking for, for Christmas?

DH has asked what I would like this year for Christmas. We have agreed a budget of £100. I'm due a baby next month but DH has said he wants to buy something for me to enjoy, plus we have everything we need for our baby's arrival. I have no idea what I'd like! If I need something, I just put money aside and buy it when needed.

Anyone else who has asked I've said pyjamas as I imagine the next few months will be spent in them with a newborn lol!!

I'm getting hair straighteners because my hair looks a total mess in the morning, I have to leave for work at 6am and don't have time to wash and blow dry it.

Me personally, I would use the money for a fluffy dressing gown, slippers, perfume and a book.

I'd like some cloud 9 hair straighteners the wide plate ones but they are £169 and there's no way we can afford it. We've just had to buy a new tumble dryer and my husband had an accident on Friday and will only get SSP which is £96 A WEEK!!! So there'll be no gifts for me this year

Spa vouchers

For a piece of my Ercol furniture to be sand blasted so it comes up to it's natural colour.

A cashmere dressing gown (I think this is unlikely as it’s quite costy) and also one of those pet canvases where they turn your pet into a lord or something. I think Colin catface will look splendid as a general.

DH is great with surprises so I’m not sure what else I’ll get but I’m sure I will love it.

DH and I haven’t bought each other gifts for the last 4 years so I wouldn’t have a clue what to ask for lol. What I actually want is a family Xmas that we didn’t get last year, in fact last Xmas was awful in our house so a ‘normal’ Xmas would do me lol x

I got a velvetiser for my birthday and I love it. But only good if you actually like hot chocolate. I'm desperate for a cashmere jumper but can't justify the cost just now and don't imagine husband would get one for me.

Theatre tickets

A leather baby changing rucksack. I have resisted so far (baby will be 8 months) but it's necessary as I'm currently using a normal handbag after selling our travel system incl bag (now have a pushchair). As sad as it sounds it's a bit of a splurge for a changing bag and I'lll use it every day!

If I was you I'd ask for some ugg slippers! That's what my husband got me when I had our son and it was a little everyday luxury.

I'm asking my partner for a dressing gown. I also quite like a mug warmer and will ask my ex as a present from my DC. These would both be quite good presents with a new baby.

Like pp said a mug warmer. Its a god send with a new baby. Can't tell you the amount of hot drinks go cold and down in the sink. Highly recommended!

I've asked for a bottle of my favourite perfume and some new fluffy socks.. I've also seen a throw i really like, that dh mentioned he'd buy me for Christmas. So fingers crossed. Been dropping little reminders lol
