DD was bought a candle making kit fir her birthday, which she loved. She still uses the candles.

Should I get another kit or is there another craft kit she might enjoy.

She's 14 if that has any relevance Smile

My daughter is 13 and loves polymer clay. Fimo is the best apparently. She makes some really intricate jewellery and tiny drain figures. There is millions of tutorials on you tube etc. she's also a huge fan of tie dying kits and loves making her own t shirts and knickers. Lino printing is another big hit and she enjoys printing her own tote bags as gifts.

Google kiwico and get her a subscription.

Actually if you dm me I think I have a referral code.

My DD is only 10... but her grandparents
have bought her a pyrography kit for Christmas as a more grown up craft.

HesperusWreck · 19/11/2021 20:47

You can get knitting kits for something very simple like a scarf. If she is the sort who'd be up for a bit of practice using YouTube or you know someone who could give some real life tuition it might work.

Comedycook · 19/11/2021 20:47

My d's loved candle making too. How about rug making? My dd got a lot from hobbycraft

Comedycook · 19/11/2021 20:48

*dd not ds

Etsy have some lovely soap making kits - all beautifully wrapped in twine and v organic etc. You can choose the scent.

CaddieDawg · 19/11/2021 20:49

Lip balm making kit? You can get ones to add colour/fragrance etc or keep it natural. Really handy this time of year Smile

HalfShrunkMoreToGo · 19/11/2021 20:49

Or if she would like making jewellery you can get resin that sets under a UV light so she can make resin earrings/pendants.

It was from Cosy Owl through Etsy but I think they have their own website. The kit came with the wicks, pellets, scent and lids abs was bought by a relative.

I think if I got her another I'd get her the thermometer as well Smile

You could do a charity shop hunt for pretty china teacups and little pots with lids instead of jars so she could make loads of different types.
