Are you waiting for Black Friday to buy or not ?

I get edgey things will be sold out or not discounted. But I need to buy a games console so would really benefit if discounted, will be DS's only gift.

I believe Which! did a study and found the majority of things in Black Friday sales could be bought for the same or cheaper at many other times of year.

If you're really desperate for a certain item then i would buy it because i wouldn't want to risk missing it.

If you have enough money, you could buy a second one in the sales and return the original, if it does get discounted at a later date. But I appreciate that's not always possible for big ticket items

I cracked and purchased 😆 can't risk it being out of stock and having to pay over the odds or extra for a bungle of stuff I don't need

For the big / main presents we purchased as don't want to run the risk of not getting them - often for the sake of a not so good bargain anyway that's made to look like an amazing discount.

I'm glad we did as after ordering DS's main present it was delayed and took 7 weeks for delivery due to shortages and lorry issues - and if we left it as late as Black Friday we wouldn't have got it in time
