Swimming headphones

Does anyone have any recommendations? Am assuming you can play music through Spotify on your phone?

Bluetooth doesn't work well in water. You can get specific swimming MP3 players. I have the Sony Walkman ones. It's a headband with the mo3 player and earpiece all built into one so you charge it and plug it into a computer to upload songs.

I really like it. Takes a bit of getting used to figuring out where the buttons are and getting the earpieces in properly but completely waterproof and means I can just block out everyone at the pool and swim in my own world.

A lot of the bone conduction headphones have a small built in MP3 player so no need for Bluetooth. I agree that Bluetooth works badly in water.

Yeah Bluetooth really doesn't work. I bought headphones form underwateraudio recently, my husband says they work really well. I wanted something that works with Spotify and they do.

I have been waiting all my life for these, HalfShrunk! Can I ask how fiddly they are? I swim in goggles and silicone hat and I just wonder whether I'd be stopping and adjusting them the whole time.

I do wear a swimsuit too, not just goggles and a hat! 🤭

This would be for listening to podcasts on. Does this mean they need to be downloaded on the headphones? Would you need a laptop?

I have the aftershokz bone conducting ones which are an MP3 and they are amazing. It upped my swimming game.
I have lots of music downloaded though from bandcamp and buying lps with downloads.
