What do I get him? Budget around £100 but could stretch to a little more if its worth it. Doesn't need phone/internet capability.

Needs to be easy to update from outlook, appointments, contacts, that sort of thing.

Dh has a Palm which he loves, I have a slightly less rosy relationship with an iPaq. Both synch fine with outlook but I think mine is easier...? (or am I more intelligent )
However, we got these magnificent high-spec items through our super-important jobs so have no idea of cost
I bet my basic iPaq's latest incarnation is only about £100 nowadays though

Well, I couldn't find an Ipaq, except on Ebay, for £100. I did find one I liked at the price I liked, but it was out of stock!

I was put off the Palm by all the reviews that said how easy it was to break - DH is always a bit clumsy with his stuff

Seriously considering Ebay now...

Dell Axims are great.
I have an X51 and DH has a X51V.
Mine was about £85 on Ebay and a wireless compact flash card for it was abround £20.

I have no advice but enjoyed this thread title as PDA is German for epidural so 12 weeks ago today I too was screaming for a 'PDA' (10 mins before ds2's birth )

Hope you find something he'll like.

I didn't actually break my Palm as such but the battery stopped holding a charge when I'd had it for a few months, and it lost all the data every time the battery went flat. I was less than impressed.
