Do you bring yours out year after year and the children still find much wonderment ?

I bought dd one this year, worrying she would still be a bit young (3 in Jan) but she loves it (so much so she has forgotten all about the chocolate ones her 2 grandmas bought which means I eat them - ha ha). I just wondered how much use you do get out of them ?

My children have got them this year for the first year, and they are very popular. I'll probably put them away after Christmas then get them out again at some point next year - I rotate all their toys like that.

I was going to keep the boxes for next year and refill them, but I'm wondering what's the point because I've seen one playmobil advent calender for just 10 euros (6 pounds)

We have new ones each year, mainly because I'm not organised enough to keep track of the boxes and keep them for another year. They are now part of our Christmas ritual and I look on thenm as an early present. (They are about the same price as a box of playmobil that size, and they have different scenes each year, though we now own about 6 Santas ) They go in with the rest of the playmobil and get played with reasonably regularly.

New one each year, cardborad recycled, toys put with rest of playmobil.

Maybe I just need to be more organised next year as I got it a bit late this year so it cost me about £20 on ebay.

We have one and are on our 3rd year of using it. DS still likes it and I still get stressed that he insists on putting the bits where he wants and not like on the picture!!!

We got the Lego one too this year - very disappointing!

Think I paid £12 in John Lewis, and they may be cheaper online - Amazon?

We buy a new one every year. Too much stress to try to keep all the bits and the boxes, and we put all the bits in their playmobil box and they get played with throughout the year. We also this year bought the lego one and its not nearly as good as playmobil, wont bother with lego next year.
