Camera for young teen

Looking to get a camera for an art loving teen. Nothing expensive as she tends to lose stuff! Possibly something with manual settings to play around with. I am trying to work out whether to buy new but basic or secondhand but better?

If you’re thinking DSLR I’d recommend getting secondhand from mpb, but budget makes massive difference!

I have been looking at bridge cameras so she can start with auto settings and move to some manual stuff as she gets more confident. Budget up to £200 I think - was looking at something like lumix fz72?

She has some additional needs so don't want to spend a fortune when she may drop it / lose it! perhaps I should add "robust" to my list of requirements!
