Hello, my daughters ancient iPad is on its last legs and we are thinking of getting her a new one for Christmas, however she starts secondary school next year so am mindful of her needing something along the lines of a laptop for homework use.
Wondering on Mumsnet opinions of whether to get a new (er) iPad with keyboard, or a laptop, and if so any recommendations for laptops? Laptops seem to be a minefield, I don't want to spend a fortune but don't want to get something that's not going to do what she wants/needs? She uses her iPad a lot for things like reading, playing games, talking to friends and drawing/art stuff. Apparently it's becoming more common place at high school to take in/use a device for school work? Thanks.
