What is Brighton like at Christmas?

Hi All. I'm looking for somewhere to go for a couple of festive days the week leading up to Christmas with my 3 DDs (9-12), probably just book a hotel for the night. What is Brighton like please? Would there be plenty to do for a couple of days?

Also thought about Oxford, we're in Hampshire so looking at surrounding counties. TIA

There's loads of shops, places to eat, usually an ice rink at the Pavillion which is stunning and great lights in the high street.

We did an overnight when DD was 12 even though we don't live too far away and had a great time.

We stayed at the Premier Inn near the Laines which was very affordable. It is in an area prone to rough sleepers but completely secure and our family room was huge.

I work retail in brighton, so I see the nightlife and the day life.. it’s spectacular at night with all the lights, there’s plenty of restaurants and bars and during the day you’ve got shops, the laines, the beach even though it’s colder you get a great view weather depending of course. There’s the ice rink at the pavilion, they are doing a Christmas market spanning across Brighton to hove from end of November I believe.
