3 weeks ago I put an order into Cancer research shop online for a personalised wooden chair with a storage bit in the seat. Order was accepted etc... I got an email today to say it was out of stock!!!!!!!!!!! Very very cheesed off! I was so chuffed with idea to get her this as she as so many toys (second child), clothes etc.. I was really stuck as what to get her. She'll not know any different though. Anyway, what do I get her now? I want something that will "grow" with her! Help!

A pony?

fortyplus · 12/12/2007 23:44

How about this? It says 3 years and over but I don't believe it.

carries · 12/12/2007 23:45

Mmmm..... em... maybe.... But her feet won't reach the stirrups for a few years!

Somebody take me seriously!!!

where's that silk scarves idea of thingy's? on here somewhere... I remember it as a few plain silk scarves, blue for sea, green for grass, pale blue for sky, brown for woods etc etc. sounded very good.

otherwise, how about some really nice art stuff? maybe you're not limping along with broken crayons and crappy bits of paper like us though.

A box Full of Balloons! My dd was 10 months last christmas ans she loved it! My mohter was really paranoid she would choke on them though (bust ones that is not fully inflated). Thinking of doing it again this year but I have bought her a kitchen

Excellent idea. The same website have a personalised chair for £8.99!! Not as cute as my orginal order.

I saw this book the other day, which is brilliant. www.waterstones.com/waterstonesweb/displayProductDetails.do?sku=5982148

Other than that - brick trolley would go down well at that age.

She will love having a go at ripping paper. When ds1 was one he spent the whole time getting in the cardboard box that his present had come in.

TenLordsaLapin · 12/12/2007 23:51

How cute!

Got the brick trolley - hand me down from her sister. Sweet book! 40 plus!

I bought a wooden height chart and marked the date each time. I know it sounds abit premature to buy something like this, but you can still measure her length.
