This year for Christmas....

This year for Christmas I really want it to snow, like overnight, full 6 ft of snow. I want the kids to be able to experience snow at Christmas as kids. The last time it snowed at Christmas where we live in the uk was when I was 7 so 26 years ago. I remember waking up on Christmas morning so excited about Santa, but walking out and seeing a blanket of white across the whole estate. Presents were an after thought and I remember all the kids on the estate came out to play.
What do you really want this Christmas 😊

World peace Grin on a more realistic note 6’ of snow sounds fun.

Once the family are with us for Christmas, dump away. Can't face another Christmas being just us and a massive turkey that we bought in anticipation of the visitors we should have had after we had that last year too thanks to covid restrictions !!

As someone who has experienced four feet of snow... one foot will do people! But on Christmas Eve when hopefully everyone has arrived (though it's just me and my two kids again this year).

When DD was 4, she was adamant it would snow at Christmas.
We lived in Cyprus. Grin

We got her fake snow. She was over the moon.

I definitely do not want snow on Christmas Day as I will be faced with the choice of either being trapped in a house with my mil, or harnessing her three Bichon Frises, strapping tennis rackets to my feet and sledding from south Wales to south east England. I am, however, more than happy to accommodate as much snow as you like either the day before Christmas Eve or two days after Boxing Day.

I'd love snow but living in the South West means it's as rare as rocking horse poo. I'm so jealous when my son sends me pictures of them in the snow

We had plenty of snow on the 28th of December last year and that was close enough to Christmas for me. I live in the Staffordshire moorlands.

This year for Christmas....
