I’m fairly new to Mumsnet and have noticed that certain threads here have been leaving a nasty taste over the last few days.

My posts in the John Lewis Ad thread have probably not helped so I’d like to say sorry for those.

Anyway the point of this post is to say a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL.

This seems like a nice fluffy place and I hope that continues.

I know that from now on I’ll be more careful about not posting an AIBU response and I hope that others do as well.

Can I confess that Ive been watching those slushy romantic Xmas films, and I’ve already got one of my Xmas lamps in use ?!
I much prefer the run up to it rather than the actual day, so I’m happy right now 🎄

I am so excited for Christmas! Obsessed this year (and most others tbf). Gift shopping 90% done and turkey and duck in the freezer. Off to a firework display tonight and then that's it - full on Christmas mode!!
