By this I mean things they can make or do or create. Or board games rather than a toy car/ figure. Any ideas welcome please ?

I might buy some play passes too for the soft play.

Lego or Duplo sets to make something which they are interested in.
Easel with paints/chalk.
Pavement chalks.
Trip to the farm/zoo, with some books about the farm/zoo.
Baking kit with recipe book, aprons, cookie cutters, mixing bowl, tub of sprinkles etc.
Gardening kit with child's gardening tools, seeds etc.
Build your own bird house kit.
Dominoes.
Picture snap cards.

Making peppermint creams, you'll need eggwhite, icing sugar and peppermint esence. Mix together , roll out to about the depth of a pound coin. Then stamp out and leave overnight to dry out .

Baking kit - aprons, cutters etc. Would they be too young for a mug cakes recipe book?

Aquabeads and blo pens were popular with my two.

Dobble kids uis an excellent game for that age.

Maybe one of those hobbycraft colour in cardboard castles/rockets/igloos?

Also, a flower press and a live butterfly kit were popular (though not very seasonal for Christmas).

Or an eye spy book - the garden eye spy book is good.

Dobble kids looks great and the colour in thing castle/ house idea is brilliant.

Blo pens and aqua beads will keep for another year as might be a bit young.

I- spy book has now been put I n my basket thanks

We have a lot of cookery stuff and gardening as have an allotment. But have butterflies on the list for the summer .

We bought pizza pizza for my 2 and 4 year olds last year and they still enjoy it now. 2 year old also likes the water drawing pads - we have a dinosaur and a safari one
