Can anyone with a Velvetiser please help. I have a Velvetiser but no chocolate! I don’t really know what to buy. Can anyone recommend anything please? Or the best place to buy it from?

Any hot chocolate will do, currently we use Tesco Finest and add the amount as per instructions (3 teaspoons). It still tastes great.

Use any hot chocolate powder or grate about 40g of chocolate and put it in as you do the sachets.

I've tried lots but I still think the hotel Chocolat is the best. You can buy pouches which work out the best value. Or a selection pack which allows to try lots of flavours.

I bought the m&s real choc flakes hot choc and that was good too.

Thanks everyone. It’s for DH for Xmas. I’ll buy a selection of different options.

Following recommendations on here we now we get ours from pendragondrinks.co.uk/ prefer it to Hotel Chocolate.

I also like making a chai latte in the velvetiser, using instant chai latte powder.

I was really disappointed with the Pendragons after I bought it following recommendations from here. It was bulked out with granulated sugar which I didn’t really think was necessary. I always use Callebaut chocolate callets which I then grate in a big batch in my thermomix/food processor. You can use them whole though - just add them slowly about halfway through the milk heating.

I use hot chocolat ones. Amazon has half price pouches from time to time.

The Hotel Chocolat ones are the best, we get ours from Amazon. Our favourite is the nutty one.
