Air hockey or football table?

Anyone have an opinion on whether air hockey or football table would be better for 6yo DS?! We’re just looking at getting a cheap 3ft one of either. He is v much into his football so I thought that was obvious choice but DH thinks he found air hockey more fun as a child! Would be great if 4yo DD could play with him too. Thanks!

Definitely air hockey for that age. Get a big one though.

I'm not sure if your budget, if it's around £100 or more you can get ones that are convertible, so he could have both plus pool and table tennis

Air hockey is brilliant in those big arcade tables, but I always found the home ones disappointing.

Football tables IME size down better, but for ds were never more than a passing interest which took up a lot of space. Even when when ds had football mad friends over they weren't interested in it.

They did enjoy a large folding pool table we had at one point (obviously that is for a later age) but that was a faff as it had to be in the middle of the living room.

When DS was six we got him a second hand big football table. More sturdy than the small ones and much used as everyone wants a go, especially visiting adults. Highly recommend that if you have the room.

We have a small football one, my next door neighbours have a much larger one. Kids play on next doors a lot - whenever they are round and all mixes of kids. They play on the one here slightly less. My DS is football mad and he would definitely want the football one ( he does also play hockey)

I remember my brother getting a football table for Christmas one year when we were kids and tbh it’s was brilliant!
We used to have tournaments with mum and dad. When the weather was good we’d put it in the garden and half the street would be round, We never tired of it!

Got ds a mini air hockey table when he was younger, lost interest pretty quickly a football table would have been a better option.
