yep, BIl is 34 still with Mum (long since the girlfriend mind- last one was when he was 18), he's got a napster voucher.

LadyOfTheHollyAndTheIvy · 12/12/2007 11:27

That's my eldest brother Tits!
I am getting the little idiot a sweater. That's what he wants.
Fine by me!

Spend £10 on a glorious card with the 'Top Ten Reasons Why You Should Be Cutting Those Apron Strings You Big Baby' printed inside professionally?

EmilyDavidson · 12/12/2007 11:54

Years ago I made the mistake of asking Dh to pick up a present for my brother. He got him a slab of beer. I wasn't happy ,but we wrapped it up and gave it to him and he was delighted ,he actually said it was a brilliant present ,which he has never said when I've done the choosing!

coldtits · 12/12/2007 13:33

ahhhh to be fair to him, mum can't afford to pay he mortgage on her own, and his girlfriend is only 18, so not really practical to move out

Slab of beer might do it, actually. Or a bottle of JD

What's a slab of beer?

EmilyDavidson · 12/12/2007 16:30

Broccoli years ago when you bought a fair bit of beer in an off licence it came on a thick cardboard tray otherwise known as a slab. It mostly comes in boxes these days ,much less balancing required!

BroccoliSpears · 12/12/2007 18:17

Ahhhh. I am enlightened. Thank you.

EricScrooge · 12/12/2007 18:29

JD is about £17 for 70cl.

Would make a great pressie though. I always get about two bottles and i am always chuffed.
