This is for a nephew who pretty much taught himself to play by watching adults. He knows the basics but needs a good illustrated reference to stuff like queening pawns, the en passant rule, pins, forks, skewers and endgame tactics. I've found the Raymond Bott books I loved as a child second hand, but would really prefer to get him something brand new for his Christmas present. Any ideas?
