I am very behind with Christmas planning (all parts, not just the kids presents) but they are the biggest stress! We've also just had the 7 year old's birthday where I used up my ideas! Confused

Please, Mumsnet, tell me what you are getting your boys for Christmas or what they have that they love. I openly admit to needing to ideas.

They both love gadgets and things that do something. Younger one loves space and football, older one is quite geeky but they both like a range of things.

So far I'm thinking Just Dance for the switch and a space projector. Then I am very stuck! Confused

My 8 year old boy loves the Labyrinth 3D board game. It’s quite strategic - good for all the family.

Games are a big hit in our house at the moment :- Blokus, Sequence, Monopoly (you can get really fun versions) and Rummikub are all great fun.

Mine are 12 and 10.now but very similar interests to yours.

When my older one was 9 he asked for a green screen so he shoot videos and edit them. We bough him a pop up green screen. He also got a second hand macbook air from CEx that he absolutely adored and it let him get into video editing.

The other gadget thing is the BBC microbit. My son loved learning to code on them but you may need to show him how to set it up.

My younger one loved fact books so any thing by usborne, DK, etc.

Oh we also have robot called Dash which can be controlled by an ipad and easily instructed to do different things. This one Wonder Workshop Dash Robot - Coding Toy for Kids www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00SKURVKY/ref=cm_sw_r_awdo_navT_g_566Z9H8N20X23K8SY848?tag=mumsnetforu03-21

It's ridiculously expensive there, we didnt pay that much for it.
