S'mores /marshmallow hamper ideas

Hi
I am going to make some S'mores hampers for family friends and I am wondering if I have thought of everything...

  • Personalised toasting stick (Etsy)
  • Extra large marshmallows
  • Leibniz biscuits (milk, orange, mint)
  • Chocolate orange/large choc buttons (to put inside the marshmallows before toasting)

I might do one for my daughter and husband too and add the different colour fire cones from Lakeland.

Would you add anything else?

Thanks

You can get gel burners for them, worth considering if they don’t have a fire?

Not quite the same, but I’ve made my DC a marshmallow toasting kit, and I’ve included miniature honeycomb pieces and popping candy sprinkles, plus rainbow and chocolate sprinkles.

If they have DC, it might be an idea to include something similar they can dip marshmallows in if they don’t like s’mores.

A gel burner to do the toasting - you can get on Amazon.

McVities chocolate digestives are good.

Tin mug and hot chocolate sachet.

Thanks all

I don’t like the gel burners because you can’t see a flame and I think that’s asking for trouble with dc. I’d use a tea light instead.

Personally I think normal size marshmallows are better with leibniz biscuits to get the perfect balance of flavours.

I definitely wouldn’t substitute digestives because a s’more needs a biscuit that snaps. Leibniz are perfect (I didn’t realise you can get mint/orange as well)

Can you link to the toasting forks?

There are other sellers on Etsy too but I wanted to pick certain colours.

I got the Leibniz different flavours from Sainsburys. They also had dark and white choc too. They were on offer at £1 a packet but I have no idea how much they are in other supermarkets so may or may not have been a good deal Grin
