How to 'present' a weekend away to dp?

I said I'd ask this on behalf of my younger and richer sister, who is treating her other half to a weekend away. She wanted to know how to 'give' him the present. I suggested she bought a guidebook for the place theya are going, and stuffed the tickets in the front but she said I had no imagination. Its been a long time since I had to worry about such things - having no money and a baby - so I'll throw it open to suggestions. Anyone?!!

I think I would do a treasure hunt. A few clues along the way like the food they eat in that country (if abroad) or a language book or something silly.

and then put the tickets in the huuuuuuuuuuugest box I could find so he doesnt expect a thing!

Quite a few years ago I took my husband to Liverpool for his birthday - I'd bought him tickets to a football game and 2 nights in a hotel. I gave him the tickets the morning of the trip (!!) inside a Liverpool FC Baseball Cap - handed to him by our DS in a duplicate cap !

Made me very happy to see how happy my two boys were !

Give a few pampering things to enjoy - bottle champers, massage oil or bubble bath, chocolates etc etc then guide book followed by tickets last (wrapped up imaginativley if need be) - sets the tone for the weekend quite nicely I find

I make vouchers - people who want contributions to their ipod funds etc get a note from the Bank of Badger

I'd make a certificate along the lines of So n So has been awarded.... because... then hand over the tickets
