Morrison's Christmas Slots

I have a delivery pass and just went into the app to edit this weeks order and Christmas slots are open, I've not had an email and wasn't expected it until next week. Worth checking if you have a pass, every slot was available so I booked Christmas Eve morning and I'm a very happy camper.

And just like that, I went in to have another look and all the 23rd and 24th slots are gone. If I'd not gone in to edit my order I'd have missed it.

? Not on my app as available or unavailable (it stops in November sometime), also a delivery pass holder.

Weird isn't it, I wonder if they're testing the system before it officially goes live.

Actually, there are still lots of slots, it's just not showing me then because I've stay booked one, if I go in to change the slot they're all still available.

Thank you, I hadn’t realised this. I’ve booked my C&C for the 23rd. I’d been looking from time to time for the last week or so.

Thanks for letting me know. I checked earlier in the day, but calendar only went up to 2nd week of November. Have now received an e-mail, & it says slots not available on the app, but on the main site. Got 23rd Dec, which gives me chance to nip to Co-op if anything like bread or milk etc. Is not available.

I am buying a little extra every week, such as jam, chutney, stock cubes etc. so the Christmas delivery will be for a few treats, & fresh veg etc. We are having dinner at my parents, but will have a back-up plan of chicken breasts, or a turkey breast joint, dessert for the freezer etc. just in case we or parents have to self-isolate if COVID or flu strikes.

My order will look a bit different as well @Fairnair I'm getting most of the essentials in the freezer now just in case, my Christmas Eve order will be fresh veg, cream, cheese etc.

Gosh I don't think I'd risk anything for a xmas eve order. Last years online ordered turkey turned out to be 4 times the size frozen so I think even 'last minute' things will need to be a few days before just in case.

@marly11 I've had a Christmas Eve slot for probably 12 years and I've only had a problem one year when Ocado didn't put one of my boxes on the van, other than that I've always got everything, you have to compete your order several days in advance which I think helps.

My turkey is already in the freezer with the pigs in blankets, it's only immediate family here so no pressure if anything is missing.

Me too.

I got an email from Asda who I've used for occasional deliveries to my mother, but not from Morrison's who I shop with most weeks and have a delivery pass with.
