Presents for 1 year old girl (whose sibling already had everything)

Dd has just turned 1 and I’m being nagged by everyone to give ideas of presents for her (I’d much rather give suggestions as left to their own devices we will get a ton of pink/girly plastic tat)

She has just had a birthday and as we have an older ds we already have loads of toys but any suggestion of days out etc just get ignored.

I’d prefer things she can play with for years (like I’m getting her a micro-scooter with seat)

Please help!

Money towards groups or days out is always welcome.

For example, we do mini famer sessions once a week so money towards this would be amazing

i have a 4 year old DD and a soon to be 1 yr old DD- my youngest will get a lot of clothes for her bday (even with DD's hand me downs I need things. eg. sleep suits for 18-24months)

A course of baby swimming lessons? They tend to be quite pricy. Another type of toddler course like tumble tots, or a pass to a soft play centre? Annual pass for a zoo/animal farm then a token schleich animal or soft toy? Is there anything your older children love but don't want to pass down? Mine have refused to pass down their baby dolls so have each got new dolls that look like them. Consumable craft materials like play dough, washable paint, for when they're ready for them.

Ask for things she needs like clothing to grow into for the next six months, or money for her bank account? That's what we ask for now for DD as we buy her everything she needs and she has so much stuff, we are really trying to limit that this year!

A special Christmas decoration. I got fairy lights for my first Christmas and growing up I loved them going on the tree each year knowing they were mine.

We used to ask for stuff to complement what we already had... so an extra engine for a train set, or a different food set for a kitchen etc.

Her own teddy, if there is stuff they are likely to use at the same time, dolly, pram, scooter, duplo can be shared,

Anything that is a bit worn could do with replacing?

Books, might seem daft but one of those tonie or yoto players (family can buy cards for it). Clothes, is she likely to move to a bed soon, duvet cover, duvet?

I know exactly what you mean family don't want to hand over money, and you can't have sister questioning why little Sis was forgotten.
