How to give a holiday?

My DH is a nightmare to buy for so I usually get a long weekend for us somewhere warm like Canaries in Feb/March which he always loves. How can I present it this year? in the past I have bought a scratchcard that reveals it and a card with a photo of the place but all out of ideas?

When I took my husband to the Icehotel for his birthday I did a kind of treasure hunt to get the letters which spelt it out.

Some nice ideas thanks, love the puzzle but a bit expensive

Scrabble letters individually wrapped. Once he's unwrapped he has to arrange to spell the name of the destination....

I bought my MIL an afternoon tea so I bought a Emma Bridgewater mug and slipped it inside. It could work with some sunglasses and case, suitcase or hand luggage bag, wash bag ….

Make a luggage label with date and destination on and put it in a gift box

We got foil tickets from Etsy for a trip to Disney.

Also had a helium balloon with a note attached in a box for a trip to NY.

I gave my husband a guide book.

I did a shoebox with a paper airplane with the destination, one of thoses houses in a bauble with a picture of the hotel and a mini snow mobile toy holding the rest of the itinerary

Give a bottle of suncream or new swimming shorts.

I unwrapped a box of lasagne once, with plane tickets to Rome tucked inside.

I've given a calendar before and marked a weekend away on it.

Create a crossword to reveal the destination.
