Does anyone have any recommendations please for nice M&S christmas snack food- chocolates, biscuits, crisps etc? I haven't shopped there before, but have some vouchers, nothing on the food to order appealed much but was thinking which of their snacks etc are worth it? Or whether it's worth getting fresh stuff nearer the time? I've tried Percy pigs and sorry to say really, really don't like them! The only thing on my list so far is one of the musical gingerbread tins.

Lemon a d white choc biscuits

Prettypennies · 23/10/2021 04:18

Not sure if either are on sale this year but I’ve loved the winter berries and prosecco crisps and the milk chocolate cinnamon sugar tortilla rolls

I was going to say, I like the musical gingerbread tins.

They do lovely cherries in liqueur covered in chocolate.

Also nice Christmas hot chocolate and granola - we like the strawberries and almond one.

DS loves the M and S churros.

We also have a mint chocolate selection laid aside for Xmas (not bad for £5)

Belgian chocolate marzipan balls
Christmas blend ground coffee
Clementine and gin marmalade

Boxes of their chocolate truffles. In a gold and black box.

They do amazing cook from frozen chocolate cookies as well as pan au chocolat and croissants.

Shortbread.

TheBestSpoon · 23/10/2021 08:12

I get a box of their cherry liqueurs every Christmas (although not this year, as I'm pregnant, boo). Their Extremely Chocolatey biscuits are brilliant too - more chocolate that biscuit.

If you're more into savoury bits, they do a good range of tapas-y things for grazing too.

Fetarabbit · 23/10/2021 08:20

Oh yum thank you for the suggestions! Sounds like some would make nice gifts as well.

The fancy truffle crisps in the black bag! Cornish cruncher cheese, cheese twists, florentine biscuits, triple chocolate crunch granola (eaten as a snack, not for breakfast)

There are £5 tins of shortbread that make nice presents

PaolaDiLorenzo · 23/10/2021 09:21

Their Cherry liqueur chocolates are lovely and they also do Irish cream ones. The shortbread is delicious.

Cindi85 · 23/10/2021 10:42

Pistachio cookies, cheese tasters (similar to wotsits but so much better), chocolate covered brazils, Irish cream liquer chocolates, the chocolate biscuit collection that comes in a blue box...

anibendod · 23/10/2021 11:38

they do pretzel cracker crisp type things which are lovely by themselves or with cheese.

second the vote for their chocolate biscuits. Their chocolate teacakes are awesome too

RJnomore1 · 23/10/2021 11:41

Their quality street type chocolates are by far the best you can get now if you like proper roses and Qs before they messed sbout with them, red box for £5. Out big selection or similar name.

ChiaraMontague · 23/10/2021 19:00

M&S Jaffa cakes! So delicious

They also do shortbread tins shaped like buses (and maybe phone boxes? At least they did in previous years) that make nice presents

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 23/10/2021 19:32

Some nice savoury crackers ( black olive ones are my favourite)
The shortbread tins , tartan with a smug looking stag on the lid .

LemonCake79 · 23/10/2021 20:58

A tin of honey roasted cashews. My Christmas treat.

DGFB · 23/10/2021 21:04

all of it, their savoury canapés )fresh) are also good

Pleasedonteliminate · 23/10/2021 21:09

How much vouchers? Their pizza deal is great, they do great party good too

FlatteredFool · 23/10/2021 21:26

Definitely the extremely chocolatey biscuits. The purple or blue box. I like the combo mix crisps either salted or the spicy ones.

You must get a triple chocolate panettone, it’s the best I’ve ever tasted. It’s delicious 🤤 I’ve already got one in storage I’m hoping to buy two more.

From the bakery so need eating immediately, but the Raspberry Royale Yumnut is amazing.

The collection mince pies are great, and I also second the Prosecco crisps.
