Went Christmas shopping for first time this year! (M&S and Primark)

I loved lots of the things in M&S and they had such a nice display - really got me in the festive spirit! I got a beautiful silver Nutcracker themed candle in Apple and Spice scent that has LED lights that light up when the candle is lit. They had lots of beautiful silver tree decorations (I do a Winter Wonderland theme so lots of silver). I also bought a box of Magic and Sparkle chocolates - the box opens to make a village scene - the chocolates are shaped like houses and the scene lights up! They also had lots of festive bath bombs - I got a tree and a star for my DC's stockings.

Primark had quite a lot of Christmassy things. I got some Christmas fluffy socks for the DC's stockings. They had shower steamers which I got for my DC's CE boxes. I also got them a paddle brush each (Bambi and Thumper), a bamboo body puff, lip sill, sheet mask and hair mask each.

I used to work in London, West End, and I loved the Christmas period.

Now I start Christmas shopping in October to spread the cost so we go to a Christmas market just to soak up the atmosphere.

I got DDs stockings in B&M the other day.

I completely misparsed your title and assumed you'd recently moved here from North Korea or were a former Jehovah's Witness who's abandoned your faith.

Slightly less exciting but I'm glad you had a lovely time anyway.

To my utter shame I trawled THREE B&M stores today in the hope of finding a velvet sack with an 'E' on it... after trying to get one last year & failing, I was determined to get one for this year! However, despite telling myself I wouldn't buy too much, I spent considerably more than I should have I find B&M is like Lidl's middle isle..

If you're in the food area in M&S the gingerbread pretzels are amazing if very gingery. I also bought one of the light up slow globe, we bought the run one as no-one here really likes the gin liqueurs, far too sweet.

I had DD with me in M&S after school and saw lots of festive treats so will nip back tomorrow without her. We actually left with six different types of pumpkin, chocolate eyeballs, witch lollipops, a Halloween Colin and a few nets of odd little chocolate balls . I only went in for dinner!

I'm nearly done and think most of mine has been online this year

Went to the local garden centre last week to look at wallpaper and ended up in the Christmas area looking at all the lovely lights and decorations - came away feeling very festive

I’ve made lists so that’s a start

I have bought DH, DD and DS all their main gift (online) and am hitting the shops today. Very excited! Primark and M&S are on the list. I got a couple of bits from B&M a few weeks ago and checked Dunhelm but they had no Christmas stuff in yet. Will have another look in B&M today.

I didn’t know about the light up chocs or Nutcracker candle! How have I missed those?! Back to M&S I go……

I went to The Range today for a look with DH and came out £260 lighter but with a massive xmas tree!! Plus all sorts of cute decorations

It’s a little like a bath bomb but it goes in the shower tray and the steam wafts the scent around.

I think the M&S Christmas range is really good this year.

I'm getting an LED candle and one of the light up gin for Christmas from DH.

I do also like the look of the light up village chocolates although I thought it was a bit pricey so didn't get one in the end. I may go back though and reconsider.

The gingerbread pretzels sound good. I need to go and have a look for them.

Just wanted to know if they looked any good! And what designs there are.

Yes but I thought the designs on offer weren't great.

They originally had done oodies with sloths on but now it's just Barbie and done black ones.
So wish I'd got the sloth one for DD!
