My favourite food gift was my tagine. I liked it originally as a decoration for my kitchen but I learned to use it and love the food too, given with a tagine cookbook or some unusual ingredients it would be a great present.

I got one of these for my dh's birthday, with the aim that I'd make them as a gift -you're sent the correct amount of spices etc., which means nothing gets left over:

He's not a fan of cooking, but he decided he would do these hinself, and they were really nice - quite unusual, not what you'd find in the supermarket.

You can make a personalised bbc good food recipe book I think

kitchenhail · 20/10/2021 18:21

A course at the school of artisan food? They do single day/weekend courses as well as the longer ones.

CurryLover55 · 20/10/2021 18:25

Which country is her favourite when it comes to cooking? You could make up a big hamper with ingredients from that country & maybe book her some workshops too.

Gingerninja4 · 20/10/2021 18:37

Oh the good food show tickets will have a look she would that

She pretty much cooks all sorts .We already do a regular run to Win yip for various ingredients as so much cheaper than buying in supermarkets plus we eat a lot of rice so buy it in 15kg sacks

If had to pick a favourite I suspect she would say between Chinese and Mexican

We have rice cooker bamboo steamer , instant pot chop sticks ,processor etc

She is not a big pasta lover

Will have to look at Pizza stone

Zhx3

Will have a look but was not kidding when say we pretty much have all the Spices so she tends to make own mix for curry etc

Have a look at souschef.co.uk They have tons of unusual ingredients and gadgets. I often buy a chef friend things from it and they are amazed I find things they don’t already have!
