Charity gifts and other good causes

Would anyone be interested in creating a resource of charity/ good cause/ethical Christmas gifts?

I have a few people on my list that I can’t think what to buy for because they don’t need anything, but definitely wouldn’t appreciate a goat!

And if I have to buy something tangible to wrap under under the tree (family politics and all that) it may as well be for a good cause too.

So far I’m thinking about Christmas tree decorations from unicef and Tony’s Chocoloney bars.

I’d love to hear other suggestions.

www.babipur.co.uk/

Babipur pretty good for ethical gifts e.g. Fairtrade chocolate and toys, manufacturers who pay a living wage.

I buy my mum and dad a weekly entry into the raffle for Yorkshire Air Ambulance. Used to do their local hospice until mum fell out with them! They have won, I think, £500 with the hospice (they bought a new TV) and a lesser sum with the YAA. They are happy with this, as they don't want "stuff." The hospice used to offer a cuddly bear/reindeer type thing as an addition, so could be wrapped and put under the tree.

I am also looking for ideas - I would like to buy a joint charity type gift for ‘work’ (small family business, 3 people in the office)
We are normally inundated with boxes of biscuits and chocolates from clients so it’s daft me buying colleagues those things individually, would much rather a certificate on the wall saying x sponsored on behalf of y
Any suggestions?

I saw toilet twinning recommended on another thread and have done this for DPs
