I’m struggling to think of a main present for my DS who will be 11 in January. He has an iPad and Nintendo Switch plus we have a family Xbox. He likes lego, stikbots, marvel/superheroes, doesn’t like sports. I’m looking to spend between £70 - £100.

Any ideas?

10yr old DS's main present is a trip to the theatre and then a Christmas market. We tend to do an experience gift such as a theatre trip as a main present but he's also asked for a pogo stick and a chocolate orange!

Mine is quite interested in computers so think we might look at a Raspberry Pi thing - he has seen one that is a keyboard/computer you connect to a monitor. I’m not into computers as you can tell!

Metre of Pringles is from b&m or at least that’s where I got mine from! Hands down ds favourite present last year. He also got a Nintendo switch but when anyone asked him what he got, Pringles were always first on the list. He is getting them again this year.

@hannahbanana2007 @NNat see above

Does he like Mario games/mine craft as there’d are some cool Lego sets of these now, some of them have tie ins to the games themselves to bring them to “life”. My son is a bit older - 14 - but sounds very like yours and last Christmas I bought him a Gravitrax marble run set that he is probably too old for really but LOVED! I bet your son would love it. My son also enjoys puzzle boxes, escape room type games and puzzles, board games (Throw throw Burrito and Muffin Time and Exploding Kittens have been the best!) and those wooden models you make that “work” with gears etc

Yes metre of pringles & oreos were from B&M. I think Home Bargains might do them too Smile

HarrisMcCoo · 17/10/2021 21:16

Had hoped his favourite band would be touring but sadly not anywhere near us next year, so may book tickets as a Christmas present for another band for DS 11 to see.
