We have both in the box and usually decide at the last minute which to use.
The angel is gold so, if we decide to go for a red and silver theme we'll use the star, which is red and glittery.
(Next year our tree is likely to be multi-coloured but dd is 21mo so we can still get away with a 'traditional' tree this year )
