Looking for lovely Christmas cards

I don’t send many cards, only about 10, and so I am looking or something a bit special. They are mainly to family and very good friends.

I quite like traditional, natural materials, love anything Scandinavian and very good quality.

Where can I find extra special Christmas cards rather than pick out singles from M&S or Waitrose.

I would recommend checking out whistlefish - I visited a store in Dartmouth this summer which is how I found them, but they have an online shop too. I think you can buy 9 for around £10 and they look entirely more expensive than that!

The National Trust ones are gorgeous this year. If you have a site near you, you can usually just go into the shop without paying admission:

I’ve also been in two local charity shops recently and both have had lovely cards (a bit cheaper than the NT)

Was sent one of these very special cards and really loved it:

Plantable wildflower seed paper, with detachable robin (I added a loop of string so it doubled up as a tree decoration until planting. And re-used the background for homemade card the following year. So no waste).

Just a shame they're not charity cards...

Yes. I love Whistlefish cards, they are beautiful.

Royal Academy - can buy online.

Oxfam has some lovely designs, 3 cards for £5. I generally need at least 30 cards so I am disappointed they've gone over to the single-card model and have hardly any multi-packs, but may suit your purposes.

There's a website called Museums and something which sells the cards and other items from all the museums.

Am not the OP but thanks to this thread have found my giftwrap. Whistlefish has beautiful proper traditional wrap which I spend months hunting for! Thank you!
Also bookmarked the Scandinavian cards.

As has been said, there's some lovely unique ones on Etsy. I'm going for the 'plantable' once this year that are infused with flower seeds and of course biodegradable. Large selection on Etsy, I'm getting these ones.

John Lewis has some gorgeous ones this year.
