Good grief, DH wants a docking station for his ipod. There seem to be hundreds...

Does anyone know anything about them? How can I find out what is the best one? Looking to spend about £100, is that going to get me a decent one?

Make sure it has power. Look for the loudest one with the most rms wattage for your money.

Some of them are really tinny and no use for us men.

Klipsch IGroove gets great reviews on Amazon and I think it was £100 when I looked.

(don't have one, but think that's the one I'd go for if I were buying one - was going to, but decided it isn't one of life's priorities right now! Altec Lansing InMotion IM600 was also on the shortlist cos it has an FM radio too. £100 from Apple store)

I have one of these - Tivoli iSongbook
It is the king of iPod docks but is a bit on the pricey side.

I've been looking for a similar thing and have decided on the Pure Chronos i-Dock as it has a digital radio as well. Don't know what the sound quality is like but it looks nice! John lewis are due to get a batch in in time for christmas and it's under £100 - just!

The iSongbook had fantastic sound quality and a detachable second speaker to enhance it further. It does cost around £300 though.

i dont know where you atay but I have just bought a docking statin for my ipod and it was 24.99 from ALDI'S it is fab

Well I appear to have somehow spent double my budget and got him the Bose one.
