What are you getting your almost 9 yo?

DD is 9 in February. She has pointed out some fidget toys and stationery she wants but apart from that and clothes I don't know. She has stuff for her room last year, desk and chair, bean bag, tv then an Alexa for her birthday. It's getting more and more difficult. She already had a bike the year before and has a scooter. She likes our generation and liked the school but it's £150 on its own and I'm not convinced it will get played with much.

She’s asked for a drone (not an expensive one), a multi tool, an art case (with paints, pens and pencils) and some big cat related items (shleich)

A kind neighbour has bought her some HP Lego and a friend was taking about a HP light up wand from Aldi, I’ve also been wondering about an invisibility cloak

My mum is buying her the Lakeland mini waffle maker

Other recent successes include
A microscope set
Circuits kits (she loves these)
More grown up craft stuff from hobbycraft, like 12x12 patterned papers to cut up, card blanks and die cut stickers
Anything bloody slime related 😂
