Morrison's Food to Order

Has anyone used them for Christmas food before? I've placed my order for M&S but wasn't impressed with the choice of sides etc so only ordered turkey, ham and the sausage roll wreath thingy. So I was looking at Morrison's for the rest - any opinions?

It might be ok if you aren’t totally reliant on it, I was tempted to try it but, having seen the complete hash at my local store, no way would I order. I used to use in store orders for business lunches, didn’t always go to plan.

I got my Christmas meal from Morrisons last year and it was fab. Seafood platter to start, the biggest turkey crown and all the trimmings and a few puddings for choice. Everyone enjoyed it. Collecting was dead easy once I worked out where the collection point was. Only one person in front of me, so lucky if I waited five minutes. Previously had ordered from our local M&S, a good third more expensive and huge queues to collect every year. I've booked my meal from Morrisons again for this year only downside is the stuffing is already sold out but I'll buy it in store and freeze.

How have you booked your meal? The slots don't seem to be open.

Used them two years in a row, won't use them again. Both times the service was a shambles: we were waiting for around 45 minutes for our order, having turned up in good time for our slot. We were patient and didn't complain, the staff were apologetic and gave us freebies both times (a bottle of prosecco and they didn't charge us for our salmon side on the other occasion), but I just don't think they are worth the hassle.

We switched from M&S a few years ago and were pleasantly pleased - their meat and seafood is excellent. Their premium range is as good as M&S and a bit cheaper.

Collection is a bit hit and miss but so was M&S
