Have loads of stuff for my 2.8yr old boy but none for my wee girl except some chocolate. She is really quite a baby still so I just don't have a clue what to put in- any ideas?

A couple of little cloth books,a fun toothbrush? As you say, she's still little, so I wouldn't worry too much!

Bubble mixture (even if you have to blow them for her). You can get bubble mixture shaped like an icecream cone at Tesco.

Pens/crayons, colouring book

Plate/cup with her favourite character on it

socks with her favourite character on them

CD of children's songs

finger puppets

stickers

animal biscuits

cheap mini photo album (the sort where you slip the photos into plastic sleeves) filled with photos of family

little board books

Matey bubble bath

Mittens/hat

novelty washmit

thanks, will use some of those ideas, might get her a buggy book. she doesn't have a favourite character yet but could get a cup anyway. I think she would like the photo album.

oooh and one of those lovely plastic animals from ELC (we have a traditional whereby dc get one of these every year in stocking...though at 4.5 this may have ds's last year)

soph28 · 07/12/2007 21:15

Julen I love that idea but she puts everything in her mouth- they would have to be stones as big as tangerines to avoid danger!
