13, 14, 15 yo girls - what do they like?

I do have one myself (quite easy to buy for) but am still stuck for presents for various in our family. Any ideas please?

Not makeup, and mot stationery - unless there’s something whizzy that’s new, because they’ve all been getting stationery for years!

Seasalt have some fluffy socks but their range is also much more limited than previously

@Newchallenge

My 12yo loves a gift voucher...
My DD wants money, book tokens and books. But this thread is giving me loads of idea for some surprises she will like.

Popcorn maker
Toastie maker
Bullet journal
Lovely fineliners
Sharpies
Magazine subscription (my 15yo likes Breathe, and there's a teen version too for younger teens)
Hat and gloves from "trendy" shops (honestly, we go through so many somehow Confused)
Nice water bottle/reusable coffee cup/travel mug
Quirky silver earrings
DD often wants a calendar (she is secretly a 60yo lady in disguise)

@BearSoFair

I second the bubble tea kit suggestion, we got one for DD last year that was a hit and it still seems to be the trend amongst her friends! Ramen and Japanese and Korean snacks also seem popular.
Where did you get the Bubble tea kit please? dD has had them a few times but I don't think she knows there is a home kit so would be a surprise for her

Thanks all fr some great ideas for my 13 yo DD.

She LOVES anything Asian food wise so the bubble tea making kit is a fab idea.
As are the fluffy socks from Amazon, she gets through loads.

Puffinhead · 06/10/2021 20:31

New Look has socks and other good accessories and gifts. Search for a discount code, there’s usually something about.

Hair straighteners were a huge hit with my teen DDs.
Definitely Victoria Secret sprays - you can buy gift sets via Next now.
String peg lights with an Instax printer.

My 14yo likes

Plushies - think avocado toast ones, boba etc.
Vinyls - building quite a collection
Retro (well 80's/90's so only retro in her world) band t shirts
She asked for socks for her bday - skulls and sushi ones
Japanese sweets and snacks

Yumsnet · 06/10/2021 23:16

Bubble Panda do nice bubble tea kits, DD got one last Christmas.

Gizmo98765 · 06/10/2021 23:26

They are all so different with different likes, interests and depends on budget. Most like money or a voucher for a favourite clothes shop. Some still like chocolate, hot chocolate kits, bath bombs, shower gel from Lush, nice PJ’s, photo boards or frames, fluffy dressing gowns, selfie stick or phone stands, those lighted magnifying mirrors from Boots, tweezers, branded sports clothes, make up, others would still be happy with bracelet kit, book token, hair bobbles, microfibre hair wrap towel, new duvet set etc etc etc.

Waffle iron/toastie maker

Fake (or real) houseplants

Jules0702 · 07/10/2021 01:05

My 13yo dd has asked for crystals, squishmallows, plants and money.

Jules0702 · 07/10/2021 01:08

Also trainers and a record player. She won’t be getting all of these but it gives us some choice. The Lego flowers are also neat but pricey.

Avarua · 07/10/2021 01:11

A Venus fly trap plant went down well with my 11 year old? Other houseplants.

StrychnineInTheSandwiches · 07/10/2021 01:19

I know you specify no makeup but is perfume out too? Teen girls seem to love the Glossier perfume.

PlinkPlankPlunk · 07/10/2021 08:07

More great ideas - thank you very much everyone Flowers

Oh yes here too. Fake ivy vines hanging off everything along with those weird long fuzzy worm things with clear thread. And mini succulent plants.
